In this video blog, I’ll be discussing the news about Circuit City, my new video tech show I’ll be starting, Chroma Keying (using a green screen), and a whole bunch more.
I ordered a green screen to use for more advanced videos. I’ll be going to shop around for lighting to use with the green screen. I have a lot on my list to buy before I get all of this going. I ordered a 20′ by 10′ green screen today. The lighting should cost me less than $50! It’ll be cheap and a great way to spice up my videos. For the past week or so, I’ve been looking into this, and been exploring a lot of videos with people experimenting on different ways to use a green screen. Some of you may not understand what I’m talking about, but a green screen is used to eliminate the background of a video. It allows you to use any background you want. This works great for video and professional photography. I use Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 12 now to edit videos. This is my first one I’ve used with this software, and it works beautifully!
I’ll start shooting videos with the green screen next week, so be on the lookout! Subscribe to my videos on YouTube or by RSS on my site. The links are provided on the top right of this page! Can’t wait to get started, and hope it will provide me a way to make a better income with doing my new tech show. I’ll go more into this on the video below. Check it out!
Not sure where they are going with this, but Microsoft really needs help on their advertising! I’m not sure what the hell they are doing, but Apple’s commercials kick ass. Microsoft’s fail! Ah… Hire me and I’ll make better ads than that!
So here’s a video of my cat [RA (pronounced Ray)] being crazy. He’s funny and has been acting quite strange lately. Like attacking us every time we walk by him. I don’t know, but this video is very funny. RA stands for Randy and April, me and my wife. What a clever name, I might add!
I thought this was really sweet! This commercial is for the South by Southwest (SXSW) 2009 Music, film, and interactive conference and festival. It features a ton of cool things to try out when you are there. Ton’s of cool techie things at this one. Wish I could go! Maybe next year.
So here’s my wife rambling on about her anxiety problems and sex or something. She wanted to let everyone know, live, that she read this in her book, (which today was her first day of graduate school) about anxiety and sex. Here’s the video (don’t ask me).
Yep that’s right. Qik just made there stream software available to the new 2.0 and up jailbroken phones via the Cydia App. Hints the reason of why I did it, because I knew this was on it’s way here! I am so excited I can’t even begin to describe it. It’s a great feature and is awesome that I can stream anywhere I’m at, live, via my iPhone! Check out the embed video below, and take a look at some of my small videos on Qik!
This is a video from my new camera. It’s the Kodak v1253 720p HD Point and Shoot. It’s awesome. The video is magnificent! A takes great pictures as well! Check it out. You can also view this in HD on Vimeo.
This is a video of our trip to Universal. I haven’t edited it at all. With the construction on my office, I don’t really want to spend a bunch of time in a cluttered room with my Mac. I can’t wait till we get all of that done so I can use it more!
